About LaLa
My inner child's name is LaLa and my given name is LaNoir. I incorporated LaLa in my professional brand in homage to this part of myself which is eternally childlike, curious, and playful. I consciously experienced LaLa for the first time during an Ayahuasca ceremony (a psychedelic plant medicine) in Costa Rica in early 2019 and have been mesmerized by her innocence, joy, and fierce desire to express herself through me ever since.
[If this sounds too woo-woo for you, I'd encourage you to research Internal Family Systems which explains the theory that we are each comprised of a variety of sub-personalities, or parts, as well as how the integration of these parts can be used as an effective means to facilitate healing. Trust me, your inner child will thank you.]
Unlike most of the mediums I've studied, I don't have any compelling stories to tell about encounters with spirit from childhood because I didn't have any. It wasn't until my adulthood that I even learned what the spiritual gift of intuition and mediumship were and then began to pursue their development with sincerity and zeal. Over 6 years later, I finally had the skills and confidence to come out of the spiritual closet as a psychic medium.
My purpose is to raise the vibration of humanity one soul at a time, starting with myself.
Everything in the universe is made up of energy that vibrates at a specific frequency. You can think of your vibration as an indication of your state of being at any given time. Higher vibrational frequencies reflect health, wellness, and positive mental, physical, and emotional states while lower vibrational frequencies are indicative of disease, imbalances, and negative mental, physical, and emotional states. Your vibration is key because it acts like a magnet attracting into your life the people, things, and experiences that vibrate at a similar frequency.
Your vibration is also a reflection of your level of consciousness or how consciously aware you are.
Although I'm a spiritual healer, this label shouldn't be interpreted as someone who heals people. Healing is an inside job and one I believe can only be activated by the individual desiring healing. Since I can't heal anyone but myself, my role instead is to hold the space of healing for my clients. I do this by radiating the energy and wisdom of healing I've acquired through my own personal healing journey and guiding others to achieve this healing for themselves. It is my sincere desire to illuminate the path to your best self through an emphasis on healing.
Mediumship
A medium is an intermediary who facilitates communication between the worlds of the living and those in spirit. Mediumship is the process of facilitating this connection and communication between these two worlds. A medium can connect not only with those who have crossed over into the afterlife, but also spirit that has never incarnated into the physical realm. In my mediumship sessions with clients, I typically focus on connecting with those who have crossed over into spirit.
I encourage my clients not to have expectations for their session because attachment to a particular outcome can negatively affect your experience. I especially caution clients not to insist that spirit bring through a specific sign or piece of information to validate they are connecting with a specific person in spirit as this contradicts the authority of the spirit communicator to engineer the reading for your highest and best interest.
Your crossed-over loved ones in spirit will have the exact same personality they did in life. If they were funny in life, they'll be funny in spirit. If they were quiet in life, they'll be less expressive in spirit. The biggest difference as a result of their transition will be in the breadth of their understanding. For example, a person who didn't believe in mediumship in life may have a new view once they arrive in the after-life and can see for themselves the reality of life after death. I observe many clients who are stunned by the drastic shift their loved ones in spirit exhibit from their previous viewpoints and core beliefs as a result of the expanded perspective afforded to those in the spirit realm.
In my experience, one of the biggest misconceptions about mediumship is that mediums communicate with those in the spirit world through language and words the same way we do in the physical realm. Mediums utilize the psychic equivalent of the 5 basic senses to perceive and communicate with the spirit world, which are called clair senses. These intuitive senses include clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairaudience (clear hearing), clairsentience (clear feeling), clairalience (clear smelling), clairgustance (clear tasting), as well as the addition of a 6th sense known as claircognizance (clear knowing) which has no physical sense equivalent.
This means that spirit communicators can share messages through words, thoughts, feelings, symbols, images, and more including a sheer knowing which can feel like a piece of information being dropped into your mind and suddenly you become aware that you know the piece of information shared. Because of the abstract nature of communication with the spirit world, mediums typically make it a point to regularly check in with their client to ensure they're accurately translating the information received.
Not at all! Anyone in spirit who shows up to a reading has chosen to do so. You should never feel like you're bothering your loved ones or inconveniencing them in anyway. Your loved ones in spirit want to connect with you just as much as you want to connect with them. Most importantly, the healing activated through mediumship is not just for you but for your loved ones in spirit as well.
It's important to realize that your loved ones in spirit will determine who comes through. Remember, spirit is in control and I'm simply the instrument channeling the information presented. It's totally acceptable to set intentions for who you want to come through and what information you would like shared, as long as you recognize that even these intentions aren't a guarantee that your requests will be fulfilled. Spirit will orchestrate your session to support your highest and best including bringing through the crossed-over loved one who can best support this aim.
At any time during your session, you have the authority to determine if you would like to discontinue the connection with the spirit communicator. Simply let me know if you would like me to disconnect at any time and the connection will be terminated. This will not end your session, just the link with the crossed-over loved one in question. If there's a sensitive topic you prefer not to discuss or information comes up that you're uncomfortable with, just let me know and I'll ensure the communication aligns with your preferences. I typically get a sense from my clients when they're uneasy and will ask if they want to proceed, however, please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any concerns or are experiencing anything unpleasant during a reading and I'll promptly address it with care.
Well, that depends. If you're skeptical about mediumship, meaning you're uncertain about its efficacy but are open to the experience to decide for yourself, then you're in good company as many people question the authenticity of mediumship due to widely help societal beliefs disparaging the practice. I welcome those who are skeptical about mediumship as I'm confident that as long as you're open to it, I can validate the continuity of life after death. However, if you're cynical about mediumship, meaning you believe that mediums' motives are self-serving or lack integrity or sincerity, then I'm not a good fit and encourage you to avoid mediumship until such time as you have resolved your beliefs enough to be open.
Absolutely! It's not unusual for more than one crossed-over loved to come through during a reading, especially if they were close to each other in life. Sometimes they come in one after the other and other times they come in together. Many times, married couples who have both crossed over will come in together for a reading and take turns providing messages and other information. It's also common for crossed over loved ones who aren't the focus of a reading to stop in just to say "Hello!" or "I love you!"
Meditation
Meditation is a naturally occurring rest state; it is resting in yourself while remaining awake and alert. Meditation is innate and your body already knows how to do it. The human body has an instinctive ability to shift into profound rest states in order to heal, energize, integrate, tune itself up, and assimilate learning.
It is almost a sure bet that you have already experienced this many times in your life.

People meditate for innumerable reasons, and all of them are valid. Here are a few:
People meditate out of curiosity, wonder, and a desire to explore.
People meditate because they are worried, tired, bored, lonely, or tense.
People meditate because they are happy, grateful, in love, streaming with delight, and glad to be alive.
People meditate because they are grieving, sad, despairing, resigned, frustrated.
People meditate because they have lost someone or some part of themselves or lost the joy of life.
People meditate because they feel out of place in the world created by human beings and prefer to live in the world of Nature.
People meditate as an attempt to escape from life and from Nature.
People meditate because they are sick in body or soul and need healing.
People meditate because they feel perfectly at home and want to savor the feeling.
People meditate to touch the essence of life and bring its magic into everyday living.
People meditate because they have not touched the essence of life but suspect that it is there for the touching.
People meditate because it is an urge in them that they have long felt, and it gradually condensed into a movement they realize is meditation.
People meditate as a response to the calling of their own souls.
People meditate because they are so excited by life they figure they could use a little calmness.
People meditate to keep their intuition and senses sharp.

During meditation we can rest more deeply than in sleep, yet the mind is free to think deeply about what is going on in our lives and to come up with a new perspective. Meditation promotes the ability to be relaxed and focuses while engaged in action, and to get tense only when it is absolutely necessary.
Even a few minutes of meditation can help you shift gears at the end of the day, from work mode to being-with-family mode or play mode. In the morning, a few minutes of meditation can help you feel more alert and relaxed all day.
Because most human illnesses are caused by or worsened by stress, meditation is good for your health. Also, because in meditation you give yourself a lot of attention, you'll find you have more attention to give to other people.
What the path of meditation asks of you is steady inquiry into your own nature, which is something you are doing anyway -- it's called having desires.

You can meditate for one minute here, three minutes there. Properly done, meditation always gives you more time than it takes. As you learn to love meditation, you will create more time for it.

Sitting cross-legged works well for some people and it looks really cool. But this pose does nothing for meditation that can't be done in other ways. The main virtue of the crossed-legged posture is that it's handy if you have no furniture, are homeless, or are outdoors.

What's stillness got to do with it? Move all you want in meditation. You only sit still in meditation to better follow the movement of life. It is a natural response, not something forced.
When you are deeply absorbed in something – conversing, reading a book, listening to a piece of music – you will sometimes be very still. You become poised in order to better follow the flow of the conversation, the arc of the plot in the story, or the movement of the music. That is the way to be in meditation as well. So stillness of posture happens spontaneously; it is not something you focus on or make a rule out of.

You can meditate when you want to, or when you decide you should, or whenever you can sneak it in. It is up to you. The basic principle is to meditate before periods of activity, so that your ability to work and play and socialize can be enhanced by the relaxed alertness in which you are learning to function. The standard approach is to meditate soon after arising in the morning and then again before the evening meal. This works well for a lot of people, and it creates a beautiful feeling of rhythm to a day.
Other options are to meditate once in the afternoon or to have several mini-meditations throughout the day. If you meditate before sleep, keep it short and select meditations that are soothing.

Start with five minutes in the morning or in the evening. If that does not seem like enough time, then meditate for five minutes in the morning and again for five minutes in the evening. Later, when that does not seem like enough, increase your time little by little.
For the first month, the most important thing is to develop a sense of being at ease with yourself and having a good time. In the beginning, meditate less than you want to, so that you are always looking forward to the next session.

Working at it, trying, or forcing – that's almost the only thing you can do wrong in any meditation. If you are too carefree it's easy to move in the direction of alertness when you want to. But if you are rushed or tense in your approach, you may build habits that prevent you from resting in meditation, and then you won't want to do it.

The main thing you will experience is rhythm, the continuous ebb and flow of many intersecting rhythms, because that is what life is. Your body and mind are composed of complex symphonies of rhythms.
In general, your experience will probably move among the following:
Relaxation and relief.
Sorting through thoughts about daily life.
Reviewing the emotions you felt during the day and giving them a chance to resolve.
Brief moments of deep quiet and inner peace.
Near-sleep and dreamlike images.
Healing: reexperiencing and then letting go of old hurts.
Tuning up: your nervous system fine-tuning itself to the optimal level of alertness.

No, nor do you have to "empty your mind." This is a myth. There are moments of inner quiet, but thinking is a major part of meditation. You ride thoughts like surfers ride waves. The more you accept thoughts, the more inner repose you will get.

If you are enjoying yourself, feel restful, and have a sense of ease, you are doing it right. In the long run, you know you are doing it right if you are more adaptable, resilient, and stable inside yourself and more perceptive and appreciative of life.

Yes! There is no difference in the mechanics of how my intuitive gifts work in sessions I do over the phone, via Zoom, or in person so you will receive the same benefit regardless of the session format you choose. Currently, I only offer sessions via Zoom and you can choose whether you want a video session or an audio-only session.
Wayne Dyer describes intention as "a strong purpose or aim, accompanied by a determination to produce a desired result." In a slightly more technical explanation, according to the research of Dr. Bruce Lipton, the energy of your intentions are "converted into electromagnetic fields by nerve cells which the brain in turn broadcasts to all of the cells in the body" and then out into the universe.
While I'll admit that I don't fully understand how this all works, I can tell you that in my personal experience, when I set intentions the universe conspires to manifest those intention as long as I consistently take action towards achieving them. I've also learned to detach from my desired outcome to make room for what the universe deems most in alignment with my client's highest and best.
My intention for intuitive coaching sessions is always to connect with my client's higher self and spirit team to deliver insights in the highest and best interest of my client and all other parties involved.
The higher self is called by many names including inner self, God-self, true self, eternal self, and the list goes on. There are many conflicting perspectives about what the higher self is and isn't, so here I'll be referencing my experience and understanding through my own personal relationship with my higher self. My higher self is my sacred center and the unconditionally loving orchestrator of my intuition. I like to think of it as my highest aspect reflecting my most authentic expression or state of being. If that's too confusing, the simplest way to think of your higher self is as your divine guide in this lifetime to assist you in expressing your divinity while in the physical form.
We each have a spirit team which is comprised of energies in the spirit realm with the prime focus of guiding and helping us along our earthly journey. The energies of each person's spirit team will vary and can be made up of spirit guides, angels, ancestors, Archangels, crossed-over loved ones, and many more beings who desire to support you throughout your Earthly incarnation.
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate in any of the sessions I offer.
It is never my intent to make life decisions for my clients. I desire to provide guidance and advice to assist clients in making the best decisions for themselves. Also, I encourage my clients to ask open-ended questions because yes or no questions don't offer the breadth of understanding that open-ended questions provide.
I won't answer questions like, "Should I leave my partner?" or "Is my partner having an affair?" Instead, I'll assist you in reframing the question to be open-ended and provide the guidance you seek without making the life decision for you. For instance the previous questions could be rephrased as "Why have I stayed in an unhealthy relationship for so long?" or "What are the predominant energies of my marriage?" The insight from these questions will provide you with clarity on your motives so you can reevaluate your choices for yourself.
If you have a question that has not been answered on this page, simply click here to be direct to my 'Contact' form where you can add your contact information and type your question into the message section.
